I think it's per captain. Each captain would have their own team, right? And they have to have proof that it's being promoted correctly. My guess. -

I was told one week prior to the show date, but that's probably because our show is not that far off

Also, I'm the captain for Houston! My team is already assembled with some friends and other kids who have signed up.
We're waiting on material now. When we get them in two of my friends already plan to hit up Hot Topic (as suggested) a few of the smaller venues in the city and there are a few shows I'm attending before Scream It (thrice being one yay!) to pass out fliers at.
One of the more closer ideas is one of my team friends works at a hooters that has local shows every so often and we'll be putting up a poster there as well as fliers during a show next week.
So far, that's all that is on the calendar. Excited! -

Hey everyone! I'm the captain for Baltimore, MD!
I'll be doing alot of what everyone already mentioned. I'm putting out fliers in like 3 Hot Topics. Probably try a few more places where kids attending might shop, like PacSun, Journey's, Zumiez. There's a record store or two I plan on trying to hit up too. Then the obvious, using Facebook and then putting up fliers at shows I'm going too between now and then. A friend of mine runs Distortion Radio (check it out! there's gonna be a re-launch soon) but we'll post about the show on there too.

Yeah, i'll also be doing a lot that was mentioned already. Probably going to 2 or 3 of the malls around here, put out fliers at the hot topics, PacSuns, etc etc. Also, in our area there's an event called "First Friday". It pretty much showcases our area's music and art, and it's held in the same location as the concert so I think that will help out a lot! Also, with 4th of July coming up i'm sure I can hit up a few places then too! I'm also going to create events/groups on Facebook ASAP :]
So far I have about 4 or 5 of my friends helping, and nobody else has signed up on here. . . So I hope as time goes on I can recruit a few more people! :D -

I live an hour out from Orlando, but I'll be there so much next month, I'll be able to promote the tour so well. I'm going to a couple of shows/events before this tour so I'll be walking the lines, handing stuff out and talking to people about it, putting posters up around town and malls with friends. It should be fun, I'm excited. :]
Oh, and yeah, 1 week, sorry for the misinformation. I hope I shall be forgiven.
