Yes i agree. like me? i consider BMTH and August Burns Red to be a deathmetal. bc the constant scream and hardcore drums and distorted guitar.
and i also never knew what to consider the bands this tour to be. but i have to agree with experimental metal!
but i think BFMV is metal. it just is the definition of metal.. because it has the guitar, it has some scream. and not too much drums.
also i would think emo would have to not be defined by how they play but what the song is about. like is about ending his/herself and the world also how they make themselves appear;...

This is tough cuz there is so many different types of metal. I guess I would consider Suicide Silence to be just metal. A band like Ozzy Ozbourne is black metal, and Poison in some weird way is metal but like hair metal. I think what makes metal is some real guitar other than a bunch of crazy beats put together like experimental. Most of the bands on this tour are more experimental. And, I agree that Slipknot and BFMV are more like rock, not metal.
