So let me just say that this tour was everything and more that I hoped for. So absolutely amazing that I almost cried. Hah, pathetic right?
I saw a bunch of other bands not part of SILYMI so I'll leave those guys out.
First guys I saw were Close To Home. They KILLED it! I was front row cause like no one was there so I screamed "Hi Josh!" and he waved and smiled. It was so funny.
Then Ivoryline took over. I'm not a huge fan, and neither was the crowd, but they put on a decent show. They tried to get us to mosh and it failed miserably.
ISMFOF followed. I saw Matt in the parking lot before the show, but I don't like them enough to go up and meet him. No offense to them but their set was terrrrrible. I did not enjoy it.
Dance Gavin Dance went on after some guy named Stephen Jerzak. I didn't watch him. I hate DGD but I went to watch them anyway. They were so bad I left and went to the other stage that was set up. I really don't know how people listened to them.
Sky Eats Airplane came after that, and though I wasn't a huge fan of them, I am now. They were SO good. I've never seen someone get the crowd going to quickly. It was awesome.
WCAR played next. Never been a huge fan of them either, but they actually killed it. I really enjoyed their set. I think seeing them live just made me like them...I don't know haha
Emery was the third to last band. I like Emery, not LOVE, so I just kind stood in the middle of the crowd. They really weren't good. Apparently one of the members had strep throat or whatever, so I guess that's why.
Story of the Year played after, and they were really good. They weren't a SILYMI band though, as you know.
But I don't care about them. I care about Silverstein, so I'm going to post a wholeeee blog on them cause I have so much to say.
And btw, my VIP experience went very smoothly. Got the pass, then went inside to the merch table and got my shirt and poster. No one bought the SILYMI stuff cause they didn't know what it was haha
